The bread box can also be used as a breakfast serving table. Mattina was designed by BIG-GAME studio for Alessi. It consists of a container painted in an oven with epoxy resin and a bamboo cutting board that also serves as a lid. The side opening allows limited passage of moisture, which is necessary to maintain the aroma of the bread. Bread is best stored in a paper or cloth bag before placing it in the bread box. The cutting board can be used as a tray, while the container can be used to carry other breakfast foods besides bread. Practical and easy to move thanks to the design of the top, which features two comfortable handles. The grooves in the top of the cutting board make it easy to collect and clean the crumbs.
