La Stanza dello Scirocco is a collection of products suitable for various spaces, such as the kitchen and the living room, by the Italian company Alessi. Born from the abstract and still atmosphere of a magical place: a room in a large Sicilian house where one is forced to seek shelter from the heat outside while waiting for the hot southeast wind to subside. It is a windowless room where you can do nothing but contemplate the wind that will ruin everything outside. The final result is a collection of geometrically irregular elements, composed of small flakes of different sizes, intertwined in an unstable balance.
