Lituus by Georg Jensen is a sculptural vase created by Danish architect and designer Anne Boysen. Made of hand-blown glass, it impresses with its unconventional shape, which directs the flower stems in different directions and creates the possibility of original, natural-looking arrangements. With a height of 24 cm, the vase is suitable for both small and medium-sized bouquets and individual flowers and decorative branches. It is made of hand-blown glass in two layers - with a matte white inner surface and a shiny outer side. The contrast between the two coatings creates visual depth and beautiful reflections that emphasize the sculptural silhouette. The dark shade of the glass adds depth and sophistication, and the smooth curves create a sense of movement and balance. Lituus is also impressive without flowers - as a standalone design object on a dining table, console or chest of drawers. Each vase is hand-blown, so slight individual variations in color are possible, which emphasize the unique character of the product. Boysen calls the LITUUS collection a mathematical spiral – a reference to the idea that while nature can be unpredictable, it evolves according to its own inherent formulas.
