The journey begins with the wool carding to a soft texture. With warm soapy water, the wool is gently rubbed and shaped to bond the fibers and create a strong felt material. As the damp wool is stretched, it is carefully shaped into the desired figure - be it a cute bunny or a curious mouse. The figure is then dried under the hot Nepalese sun. Once the desired shape has been created, the most detailed and artistic step begins: adding embroidery and decorative details. Each piece is hand-decorated by experienced Nepalese craftsmen, who bring the design to life with precision and care. Fine embroidery creates texture and personality, while small details such as facial features, patterns and color accents make each piece unique. It could be a flower in a mouse's hand, fine stripes on a bunny's coat or tiny buttons on a gnome. Each stitch and bead is carefully placed, requiring both patience and immense craftsmanship.
