The design studio Wilmotte & Industries, through a work of composition, balance of shapes and colors, seeks to find the apparent character of the object, the sensuality of the material. The research around Jacquard was nourished by the identity of the architect, his artistic sensibility, but also his chromatic universe. He reconnects, quite naturally, with the French art of weaving, in which he had already invested, with passion, in the 80s and of which he masters the entire technique and language. The patterns of the tablecloths and napkins reflect his projects. The warp and weft threads of the jacquard intertwine precisely and subtly to outline the geometric outlines. Thus we find the same constructive gesture in the architectural structure of the building and in the weaving of the jacquard fabric; the two respond to each other and harmonize to create an intimate, contemporary and confidential universe.
