Christmas ball Delight

With her eclectic and direct style, Nika Zupanc reinterprets traditional Christmas ornaments with four different designs. The designer uses classic Christmas colors – white, red and gold – and shapes such as stripes and dots to shape them into four modern Christmas tree ornaments. The result is a collection in which dreams, courage and emotions become a mix of poetry and sophistication. Nika Zupanc Zupanc was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. In 2008, she started her own design studio, which soon became known for objects that “do not oppose rationality, sobriety and pragmatism, to promote intuitiveness, eclecticism and intimacy”, as she puts it. She collaborates with prestigious design companies, while also creating for her own brand. The international press has expressed interest in her work, describing it as “punk elegance” and “techno chic”. Several of her projects have won awards.
