Christmas toy shooting star

The magic of a clear, winter night sky is captured in this beautiful Christmas shooting star. It is part of the annual collector's collection from the Danish company Georg Jensen. The star symbolizes the optimism and joy of Christmas as it hangs on the tree or in the window. Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg was inspired by Christmas night and the starry sky for the Christmas 2021 collection. Initially creating each shape carefully by hand cutting paper, Sanne creates shapes that bring movement and lightness to the home. The toy is masterfully crafted from brass and palladium in Georg Jensen's own workshop in Denmark. It is available with both a traditional red ribbon and a festive blue one.
